This Master thesis deals with the evaluation of roe deer maintenance at the premises of the University Forestry Enterprise of the Technical University in Zvolen. The first chapter is dedicated to the problem analysis in which we focused on the description of the roe deer, its distribution, the most significant illnesses and damages it causes. In the following chapters we stated the thesis objective, material, methodology of the data processing and the means of data gathering for the statistical processing. The findings were aimed at the evaluation of the roe deer maintenance at the premises of the University Forestry Enterprise of the Technical University in Zvolen as well as the analysis and evaluation of the forestry and hunting characteristics in the area of interest. Another aim of the thesis was to analyze the development of the spring stem status, the normative stem status, hunting and roe deer trophy quality in the area of interest. After the final evaluation of the given results we recommended the arrangements for improvements of the roe deer forestry management in given hunting ground.
