This master thesis deals with the analysis and evaluation of the mouflon sheep prize trophies presented at the all-state hunting exhibition in Nitra in 2016. The first chapter of the master thesis is dedicated to the problem analysis in which we stated the original distribution of the mouflon sheep, its introduction in Slovakia, biology, cross-breeding, mouflon horn development, food demands, game feeding, damage caused by mouflon sheep, regionalization, selective hunting, exhibition, development of evaluation methods and the evaluation of trophies. The second chapter states the goals of the master thesis. The third chapter provides the materials and methodology of the data processing and the means of data gathering for the statistical processing. The following chapter is focused on the spring stem status, the normative stem status between 2011 and 2015 that are inscribed in the catalogue of the all-state hunting exhibition in Nitra in 2016. After the final evaluation of the given results we recommended the arrangements for mouflon sheep management from the perspective of both quantity and quality of the mouflon sheep trophies. This could contribute to a better management in the area of trophy quality and regulation of the numbers of this type of game in Slovakia, which is competition with its neighbouring countries.
