Warehouses in a single-storey building is a part of the logistics chain that ensures the storage of products and materials for a certain period of time. Due to the increasing number of warehouses construction, the diploma thesis focused on the solution of the spread of fire in the buildings in the single-storey building. The solution is implemented on a particular building. They are trying to find out how best to secure the building from spreading fire. The solution itself has been applied in accordance with current legislation. The introductory part provides basic information on the issue and describes the procedure for dealing with the fire safety of warehouses. Another part of the thesis is devoted to the specific description of the selected warehouse in the one-storey building and the main part is focused on evaluation of the results of the fire safety of the warehouse. The result of the work is the evaluation of the technical solution against the spread of fire and the proposal of the necessary measures and recommendations in the surveyed warehouse. The results pointed out that the warehouse must be equipped with an electrical fire alarm and a fire extinguisher. Another suitable technical solution to the spread of fire has been proposed for the construction.
