The wild boar creates a significant part or the cloven hoofed game in our hunting grounds and its breeding is by no means difficult. However, it is important to realize that the improper management of this game can lead to considerable damage on the crops and, also, damage on roe deer game group. This master thesis points out the possibilities of improving the management of the wild boar game at the premises of the University Forestry Enterprise. The results have been processed since 1987. The thesis provided information about the wild boar, its characteristics, way of life, health problems and its inner constitution. It also deals with basic principles of breeding plans and the hunting of this game. This thesis focuses on The University Forestry Enterprise premises and provides information about the soil, climate, vegetation and hydrological conditions in the area, which influence the life of the wild boar. The thesis also describes the history and hunting within the University Forestry Enterprise.The results were acquired from various almanacs and from the consultations with professionals. They were, consequently, processed into charts and graphs to which I also attach commentaries. The conclusion forms the recommendation for the hunting management.
