The main objective of this diploma thesis was to determine user preferences in the area of wood – framed houses. The main objective was fulfilled by five partial objectives. While searching the preferences we have used information gained from respondents by questionnaire. In the theoretical part we processed topics based on specialized literature which are directly related to the main objective of the thesis. The practical part was focused on obtaining information from respondents and their processing. In the end of the practical part we have proposed a model which includes hierarchical user preferences in the area of wood – framed houses. This model has wide usage for businesses dealing with production and sale of wood – framed houses.
