The Bachelor thesis is focused on the topic of unemployment and inflation. First, it deals with the issue of unemployment, its characteristics, types and measurement. It also discusses the cause and consequences of the unemployment situation. Further attention is given to inflation. The work contains its characteristics, measurement, types, but also the causes of inflation. It also includes the clarification of the issue of the relationship between unemployment and inflation. This issue is accompanied by Phillips curve. Thesis is more focused on the analyses of unemployment and inflation in Slovakia.
