Diploma thesis deals with more and more actual issue of the corporate responsibility.The main aim of diploma thesis is to analyze the attitude and acitivites of the enterprise, focusing on the social part of the corporate social responsibility in enterprise ŽP, a. s. Theoretical chapter deals with corporate social responsibility, it´s historical development, influence of European union, comparison of European and American understanding of social responsibility, subjects in Slovakia, impact on the business, stakeholders theory, determination of base of social responsibility and it´s measurement. Second and third chapter deals with aim and methodics of bachelor thesis. Analytical part involves analysis of range of implementation of corporate social responsibility in selected enterprise, focusing on the social part. Based on the analysis in conclusion of diploma thesis, there is the assessment of reached knowledge, proposals for improvement in corporate responsibility in enterprise Železiarne Podbrezová, a. s. and the summary of results compared to the aim of thesis.
