In the submitted Master´s thesis we focused on the thermal properties of spruce wood, which was purposedly degraded with white rot fungus Trametes versicolor. We created several hypotheses about the thermal properties of wood, which we wanted to prove. In the theoretical part of the thesis the measured thermal properties and factors, which can influence them, were described. We described known methods of measuring of the thermal properties and we proposed a new method for measuring other properties, which are based on the thermal properties. In the practical part we displayed and compared our results via graphs. Some changes in the thermal properties of the degraded wood were proved with our experiments. We entered the calculated results into a software to find out, whether the use of degraded wood in wooden structures will influence the thermal properties of the structure. The results were discussed and summarized and compared to existing data from previous researchers.
