Zvolen: FEVT TUZVO, 2018. 77 s.The first chapter focuses on logging and fuel wood. We will describe the process of wood harvesting, methods for its extraction and utilization of residues resulting from the mining process. In the second chapter, we know what kind of technology is used for the production and processing of firewood. This chapter also includes a breakdown of the technique that is used in the processing of fuel wood and we will describe the advantages and disadvantages. The third chapter focuses on designing a horizontal splitting device where we choose the construction of equipment, designing the device, calculating the forces involved, and thereby adding the necessary components to the price and vitality of the cutting machine. The last chapter follows the third chapter. In this chapter we will schematically design a hydraulic control of the splitting machine, where we describe the individual elements, their function and importance in their design.
