The goal of the bachelor thesis is to propose a new method of quality control of cleaning emulsion used for cleaning the coreboxes in a foundry. At the start of the thesis there is the description of the current procedure of serial control of the emulsion on the basis of alcalic hydrixides used for cleaning the coreboxes for sand cores production that are used to produce castings from aluminum alloys. Later the risks at the workplace for cleaning coreboxes are analysed. This is the starting point for an experiment whose results will then serve to prepare a more effective control method of the concentration of the solution used in the ultrasonic cleaning machine. The regular control of the concentration respectively the amount of emulsion is important for maintaining the effectiveness of cleaning the forms to ensure quality of castings. In the bachelor thesis there is the description of the experiment of the innovated procedure for the control of the emulsion concentration on the basis of acid-basic titration. From the required results a new method was elaborated, the procedure was evaluated also from the point of security and risk, with the help of PDV method. The results will be applied in the practice.
