Assignment of the diploma thesis is proposal for improvement of production process in the company. Diploma thesis deals with the analysis and assessment of current state of the company Brik, a. s. Introduction of diploma thesis is a theoretical assessment of production systems, management and transport in them, designing and modeling of production systems. The aim of this work is creation of simulation model in real production enterprise in 2D and based on an analysis of the current status, proposal of change in existing production in order to improve the performance of the production system (for instance: material flow, productivity and occupancy of workplaces). Using simulation software Tecnomatix Plant Simulation processes of original manufacturing system are analyzed and simulated, by using real collected data. The output of this work is also statistics comparison between current production parameters and proposed change in production.
