Today, chainsaws are predominantly used for wood harvesting and processing. They have suitable weight, are easy to use, reliable and versatile (forestry, construction, gardening). Chainsaw is a hazardous working tool because it has a negative impact on workers health. When working with a chain saw, serious illnesses can occur due to noise and vibrations. Bachelor thesis deals with the current overview of chainsaws from various manufacturers (Stihl, Husqvarna, Jonsered, Dolmar, Oleo Mac) and the effects of noise on man, which originates when working with chainsaw.
