The diploma thesis consists of several parts. The first part presents current knowledge of building materials, their properties with focus on their fire resistance. The very one chapter of the theoretical part of the thesis itself deals with the characteristics and properties of plasterboard boards with regard to the plasterboards building and fire protection and their properties. The beginning of the experimental part is devoted to the description of experimental methods (heat radiation test, acoustic absorption test) and the material used, i. the RIGIPS RB (A) building board and the RIGIPS RF (DF) fireproof plasterboard. In the fourth part we have evaluated the test results, which are subsequently analyzed with regard to their thermal resistance and acoustic absorption. The lessons learned are presented at the end of the work in the form of recommendations for practice.
