VASKO, Ivo: Analysis of the wolf density of the predatory district of Snina in relation to its food claims. [Bachelor thesis] / Ivo Vasko. – Technical university of Zvolen. Faculty of Forestry; Department for Applied Zoology and Game Management. - Thesis supervisor: Ing. Tibor Pataky, CSc.,– The degree of professional qualification: Bachelor. – ZVOLEN : LF TU, 2018. 43 p.The thesis analyses and synthesizes the current data on the occurrence of potential spoils and damages caused by the predatory wolf in the Snina district (the hunting of wolf is currently prohibited for much of the territory). The state of deer and wild game also has an increasing character in the evaluated territory. With the increasing number of animals growing damage of cloven-hoofed game caused by the wolf is also increasing. We assume that for a more relevant assessment of the status of wild game animals and the impact of cloven-hoofed game, it is necessary to change the access of interested hunters who participate in their census. In this case, it could not happen that when counting (JKS), within some PR, we get to numbers that are exaggerated due to their magnitude in relation to the size of the wolf's home quarters.
