Master thesis is aimed for the design of the wood doser mechanism. Introduction describes development of transport and handling mechanisms from historical to the present solutions and a brief overview of the dosing devices. The main part is focused on the brief description of the individual conceptual designs of dosers with the following selection of the appropriate one. Dimensioning of the individual mechanism parts was subsequently done for that design. Finally, a stress-displacement analysis was performed for a detection of maximum mechanism loading. On the basis of previous, it could be stated that selected type of dosing mechanism is structurally less demanding and cheaper than the other solutions.
