Topic of the bachelor thesis is about injuries in forest management,. The thesis is focused on occupational injuries in manipulation - expedition warehouse Žilina in 2000 - 2017. As the most risky phase was found the harvesting - process, more precisely felling and logging. Total number of occupational injuries was 84, from which 98 % of men and 2 % of women. Average age of fatality figures of employees in forest management was between 41 and 50 years, the lowest number of fatality figure was on the other hand in the age between 56 and 60 years. In the most cases were recorded injuries of extremities, more precisely hands and legs. It also testify to the bigest number of laborers injuries and the lowest number of forest managers injuries. In long term view, the biggest number of injuries occured in the year 2000, in following years had occupational injuries decreasing tendency. The biggest number of occupational injuries in forestry is due to distraction, inexpertness, and to infrigement of basic technological policy. In order to this knowledge it is needed to observe and analyse causes of individual injuries, to create as good work conditions as possible in the future and to eliminate occupational injuries.
