The aim of this work was to evaluate information on the growing wild boar population , in selected hunting entities district Trebišov, which is on the best way becoming the most abundant species in the whole of Europe. The causes of this boom are varied, from air pollution to agrarian policy. Wild boar game is a very widespread species in our conditions and is located almost on the whole territory of the Slovak Republic. Where they did not record the occurrence of this game in the past e.g. at the higher altitudes of our mountains, it is no longer a novelty to meet up there from the stories of the wild boar game, or directly with these majestic animals.
