PALÍKOVÁ, Jana: The current state of implementation of the concept of corporate social responsibility in the Slovak Republic. Petra Lesníková, PhD. - Degree of professional qualification: engineer - Zvolen: DF TUZVO, 2018, 59 s.The diploma thesis deals with the issue of corporate social responsibility with an emphasis on environmental pillar. The main aim of the thesis is to evaluate and identify the stand of the company on the concept of socially responsible business with an emphasis on the environmental field, on samples of selected medium and large enterprises of the wood processing industry of the Slovak Republic. The objective is also to identify the use of tools, activities or environmental barriers. The theoretical part defines the issue of the CAP. The first chapter deals with the current state of the CAP concept, key pillars, CAP areas, environmental instruments and key standards. The second and third chapters deal with the main objectives of the work, the partial objectives and the methodology of the work. The fourth chapter is aimed at analyzing the current state of implementation of the CAP concept in the form of a survey questionnaire. The subject of the survey is the knowledge of CAP enterprises with an emphasis on the environmental field, existing barriers, standards and instruments of environmental application. Object of work are medium and large enterprises engaged in wood processing industry in Sovensko. Data processing is evaluated by meteor and statistical methods using graphs and spreadsheets. The last chapter contains proposals and suggestions that could benefit from the implementation of environmental activities for enterprises in the wood processing industry in the Slovak Republic.
