The aim of my bachelor thesis was to investigate and evaluate malakofauna of wetland habitats in Zvolenska kotlina, which fall under the management of the CHKO Poľana. Wetlands belong to habitats with rare species of molluscs. The methodology used for sampling was done by taking up the fall and the top layer of soil to a depth of 3 cm. It was carried out on the 20 wetland sites in 2017 in the months of May – October. To ensure the widest variety of species, different wetland habitats - floodplain forests, peat bogs, alluvial meadows and forests, have been the subject of research. While determining the species, 5396 individuals were found in 72 species of molluscs. Within the ecological groups, the most widespread were the forest species and from the zoogeographic aspect of view, the most represented species were of the cosmopolitan species. Of species that are ecologically significant, only V. angustior species were recorded at four sites. Of the species that may be included in one of the IUCN categories, only V. enniensis is critically endangered. Endangered species were represented by P. alpicola, P. bidentata and C. aspera. Vulnerable species were represented by 3 species: V. substriata, V. angustior, N. petronella. Species close to the threat were the most numerous group of 10 species.
