The aim of this Master´s theses is to investigate the indipendence between selected indicators of the performance of wood industry in the Slovak Republik. The paper is divided into five chapters. The sense of performance, the development and the dividing of indicators are stated in the first chapter. The second chapter discribe the aim of this paper with its partial goals. The next chapter following methodics of work, which discribe the statistical teory for the correlation and the regression analysis. The main important part of paper is stated in the fourth chapter with title of analytical part for result of this paper. In the last chapter are stated some recommendations and facts, which we achieve.
