IVANIČ, P. 2018 A Structure and Production Conditions in Primeval Forest of Badín: Diploma thesis. Zvolen: Technical University in Zvolen, Faculty of Forestry. 2018. 67 sThe theme of this dissertation was the natural forest structure analysis in the National Reservation Primeval Forest of Badín. The forest stands are in climax stage. This area belongs to the 5 degree of the protection. The main aim of diploma thesis was to analyse diameter structure, circular base structure and density structure of the climax stage in the primeval forest. Furthermore was performed analyse in the forest stands (800, 802, 803), that creating a primeval forest climax part. In the primeval forest was realized measurement from the 8 cm diameter. Obtained data has been evaluated within entire primeval forest, based on forest stands and partial layers of woody plants. We compared obtained data with the data from the other primeval forests and with the data obtained in the Primeval Forest of Badín realized in 2008. The research data obtained from the entire primeval forest shows: an average growing stock in 1 hectare 1038, 33 m3.ha-1, European beech 83, 95%, silver fir 9, 93% and the other woody plants 6, 22%. The value of circular base is on the level: 42, 90 m2.ha-1, European beech 81, 90%, silver fir 11, 62% and the other woody plants 6, 47%. An average number of woody plants re - counted on 1 hectare reaches 436 pieces per hectare. European beech represents 85, 18%, silver fir 8, 78% and the other woody plants 6, 04%. From the perspective of production, circular base structure and number of woody plants is the most important forest stand number 800. The most significant woody plant is European beech that determines cycle of primeval forest. The second most is silver fir that the production maximum was down in the forest stand number 802. During the evaluation of relative rate within primeval forest based on layers oriented on silver fir results show that the allotment in lower layer is 6, 33%. The allotment of silver fir increases to 12% in upper layer.
