The thesis deals with the issue of innovation and its main goal is to design a new product in the enterprise “Ján Bobro - Pekáren Hriňová”. The thesis is divided into 3 chapters. The theoretical part is focused on explaining the concepts of innovation, innovation process and interconnection of project management and innovation process. In the research part of the master thesis the analysed enterprise and its product portfolio are characterized. Subsequently, a personal interview with the business owner was conducted. Following the interview 3 analyses were performed. Therefore, we recommend the enterprise to produce spelled bread. Moreover, innovative tasks to improve business practices are proposed in the thesis as well. Decomposition and Perth diagram as project management tools are used to illustrate the activities. Next part is devoted to proposals and recommendations for the company resulting from the findings of individual analyses. The conclusion is devoted to the summary of master thesis.
