The diploma thesis describes the insulation materials most frequently used in construction, their distribution, the characteristics of the individual properties and the ways of using the thermal insulation materials. Subsequently, the individual acoustic, thermal and fire protection properties that must be met by insulating panels are characterized. On the basis of the experiments carried out, the results are compared to compare the fire and acoustic properties of the insulated panels offered separately. The results show that mineral wool insulation boards and recycled textiles have the best value for sound absorption coefficient. From the standpoint of fire performance under model fire conditions, the recycled fabric appears to be the best.
