The aim of the diploma thesis is to acquire the theoretical knowledge from the field of logistics in the field of production, logistic technologies, which are used in the production and optimization of production processes in workplaces based on calculations. Each enterprise works with the concept of logistics. Logistics includes all activities and flows to meet customer needs. The thesis is divided into 4 chapters. In the first part we define logistics, its objectives, tasks, ongoing processes in the logistics chain and logistics technology. The second chapter introduces the aim of the work. In the third part of the thesis we characterize the selected company and its product portfolios. It is characterized the process of manufacturing the final products - deburring boards and the production of packaging as semi-finished products. Analysis of tire production consisted of time measurements in workplaces. The diagram at work shows the exact course of workmanship production in chronological order. It focuses on calculating the usable time fund and the necessary production capacity. The capacity utilization factor means that the capacity of individual workplaces is sufficient or insufficient for the planned quarter. At the end, the workplaces are rated according to the capacity utilization factor and the recommendations are given to optimize the workplaces.
