The theme of this diploma thesis is "Dust in the working environment of woodworking". The aim of the thesis is to theoretically elaborate the issue of OSH in the context of the OSH strategy in the Slovak Republic for the years 2016 to 2020, to define the dustiness in the working environment in the company GEDONI s.r.o. and to measure the real dust values on a selected machine and technology, and compare the results with the valid legislation with the result of developing an operational order for work activities with exposure to a solid aerosol. The thesis is divided into three basic chapters. The first chapter focuses on health and safety at work and legislation from the employer's general duties. The second chapter focuses on man and the working environment in the dusting plane. The third chapter is dedicated to the characteristics of GEDONI s.r.o. as well as the methodology of dust measurement in the working environment on selected machinery and equipment in order to find out the amount of solid aerosol from wood and at the end of the work the results of the measurement are compared with the valid legislation with the valid legislation with the result of elaboration of the operational order for work activities with exposure of the fixed aerosol.The measurement was made that the limit values for concentrations of solid aerosols in GEDONI s.r.o., determined by valid SR legislation, are not exceeded.
