This diploma thesis aims at finding the solution of the fire protection of the production hall. Production buildings are characterised by the open floor plan area, therefore the appropriate technical blueprint to prevent the fire from spreading over the construction site is crucial. The fire protection blueprint in the selected production unit is elaborated according to the current legislation and compared to its original condition. The result of the comparison is the proposal of the inevitable changes in separation of the construction site on the fire sections, proposal of the appropriate technical solution to prevent the fire from spreading, with which the suitable size of the fire section of the production hall is accomplished, and the required amount of the fire extinguishers is added. Consequently, the principal of the synergy of the fire safety equipment, which serve to protect the objects against the fire is explained based on the example of the particular furnace hall and adjacent open technological facility of the filter station.
