Materials that are currently used for construction purposes must meet increasingly stringent legislative and technical requirements. In our work we deal with fire and noise characteristics of recycled insulating materials. In the theoretical part, the most frequently used materials, their properties and the advantages or disadvantages of the application are mentioned and described. In the practical part, two experiments are performed. In the first experiment, we calculated the sound absorption coefficient by measuring the reverberation time in the measuring room of the finished CLT panels with added recycled and insulating materials. In the second experiment, we performed the radiation test of the finished CLT panels with added recycled and insulating materials. Based on the results of the experiments, we found that the most suitable fire, thermal insulation and acoustic properties are recycled fabrics and mineral wool.
