The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to characterize and analyse the fire safety in the warehouses that deal with the production of furniture. Fire safety is very important when it comes to this type of industry. It is crucial for the health, safety and well-being of the employees but also to protect all facilities that can be found on the premises. In this thesis, the term risk is defined as a first step to prevent an unwanted incidence. The attention is focused on developing a systematic approach to understand, control and lead a safety process in the chosen furniture warehouse. The importance of preparation of precautionary measures together with the careful behavior while being on the premises of the warehouse is crucial. The fire safety procedures and technical solutions that try to avoid the fire from spreading in the chosen warehouse are evaluated and the fire safety plan is proposed. The thesis also focuses on improving safety through a number of relevant processes.
