The thesis titled as Proposes the introduction of IS and the benefits of the use of IS is concerned with clarifying of the importance of information systems and technologies also for smaller business entities engaged in providing services. Data used in the work were obtained from the technical literature related to the subject of the economic information system and information systems in general. There was used a special manual and the whole information system suggested in the work as the most suitable. The obtained data were processed by the agent of the company offering the information system, as well as by the agent of the business association DM Exim, spol. s.r.o., for which the information system was proposed. Its modules were designed directly to the business association DM Exim, spol. s.r.o. according to the needs of particular departments. The most important conclusion is that similar information systems already exist but they are out-of-date, incompatible and therefore it is necessary to create a new information system on the basis of the latest proposal. With regard to the extent and complexity of the described problem the conclusions of the thesis present a simplified draft of features and functions of the information system.
