The Diploma thesis is focused on the theoretical and technological knowledge in the field of construction of simple punching tools. From the theoretical knowledge of the diploma thesis is an analysis of the current state of the tools designed for the surface punching and description of the plastic deformation of the shaped material of the aluminum profiles. The chapters of thesis includes the division, nomenclature, the possibility of concepts, the construction of simple punching tools. Also included are the working materials and materials of individual tool parts that can be selected during construction. Based on the theoretical knowledge presented in the diploma thesis, a simple punching tool for sheet metal forming of aluminum profiles was designed and built. The last chapter of the thesis is the technical and economic evaluation of the results with the suggestions of the use in practice.
