Full-area mortification of pine grovs is not only a problem of Kysuce region, but also of other mountain regions of Slovakia or Europe. In Kysuce region they were just spruce at altitudes of 800-1000 meters above the sea level, which were first weakened by pollutants from the Czech Republic and the Polish Republic. Subsequently, the spruce bark beetle spread with favorable climatic conditions. In many Slovak and Kysuce localities it was caused by free zones.
