The modern trend of timber construction is not only a return to tradition and to nature. The reason for the construction of such wood-based buildings is above all energy conservation and the effort to reduce the burden on the environment. The subject of our bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the state support of the financing of timber constructions. We analyze the problems of the technical and economic nature and significance of woodworking. We are dealing with the current version of the call and the conditions for drawing subsidies for woodworking support in Slovakia. At the end of the thesis we evaluate the risks and potential of the support of the woodworking sector.
