The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a two-storey structure with a column system and design of a heating body for the family house.Thesis consists of a theoretical and practical part. Theoretical part deals with general information about the construction systems of wooden constructions and approximates the frame structures, clarifies the need of creating thermal comfort and criteria for construction from a thermal point of view. Thesis focuses on heat sources in buildings where different types and divisions of heating are present.Practical part consists of the elaborated building-design solution of the proposed building. On the basis of the drawings, the heat losses of the building were calculated, the heat demand for heating for one heating season was determined, followed by the selection of a suitable heating element.
