This bachelor thesis is focused on highrise technology used by Fire and rescue service of Slovak Republic. The goal of this thesis is to process basic divisions of highrise technology, describe selected technology with indicating basic technical parameters and comparasion of two selected vehicles. There are four chapters, in which are also the pictures for visual example. First chapter is focused on basic characteristic of highrise technology. There is described selection, design solution of highrise technology, basic technical requirements for chassis and extension. There is also inclusion of individual types of automobile ladders and platforms on district directorate within KR HaZZ Košice. Second chapter is focused on specific description of automobile Multistar Magirus. Includes characteristic of vehicle and specific description of individual parts from cabin, through suspension system and controls of extension, to repair and service of individual parts. In third chapter is processed automobile ladder L39 METZ. Structure of this chapter is mainly matching with the structure of second chapter. Fourth chapter contains comparsion of these two vehicles from more aspects and evaluation of advantages and disadvantages of these vehicles.
