In the bachelor thesis we dealt with comparison of the V4 market environment. Through selected macroeconomic indicators and world indices, we compared the competitiveness of V4 member countries. The bachelor thesis is divided into four chapters. In the first chapter, we deal with the theoretical definition of the market and the market environment, the characteristics of the Vyšehrad group, as well as the clarification of the Vyšehrad Fund. In she second chapter we defined the main goal of the bachelor thesis was through analyses of economic indicators, Global Competitiveness Index, and Doing Business Index to evaluate market, business environment and point to the development of the individual countries of the Vyšehrad group. The third chapter is devoted to the methodology of work. In the fourth chapter we presented the current state of the problem solved in Slovakia and in other V4 member countries, through which we found out that the SR does not have the first steps in analyzing the economic indicators. The solution of the given problems is evaluation of the most problematic factors affecting the business environment of Slovakia in particular but also of the other V4 countries.
