The purpose of this Bachelor thesis is to compare the levels of motivation in Czech Republic and Russian Federation, focusing on Sverdlov District. From the findings, it is evident that Czech and Russian employees have significant differences in the perception of individual factors of motivation. The most important motivational factors for Czech employees are relationships, while for the Russian employees it is the opposite, the most significant are the motivational factors of work. The most occurring factors of motivation, in both countries, were the atmosphere of the working place, the good working team, the purpose and the type of the job, furthermore it was the financial valuation and the basic salary. In addition, the factors of motivation were analysed with the aid of the T-Test for the independent choice, on the basis which we can conclude that there are statistically significant differences between genders and countries.
