This work deals with optimalization of material flow in a particular foundry using simulation software Tecnomatix Plant Simulation. In the theoretical part there are described goals of simulation, unnecesery steps for creating simulation model and pros and cons of automatization. Practical part solves material flow from casting to final operations by system of conveyors. It compares simulation model of current state with model of planned state. In the last part ther are suggested measures to increase throughtput of line and to decrese number of casts needs rework.
