The bachelor thesis highlights the importance of forestry gondolas for forestry. The aim of the thesis is to compare the economic advantage of the use of selected types of forestry lifts. Forests in the Slovak Republic are often spread even in hard-to-reach terrain conditions, and the forestry lifts are just those mechanisms that can make work in the forest more efficient. The first part of the bachelor thesis describes the current state of forestry issues It focuses on the approach of the individual concepts related to forestry, the characteristics of forests in the Slovak Republic, the characteristics of the forestry lifts. The most important contribution of the bachelor thesis is the last chapter, which focuses on the comparison of the efficiency of selected types of forestry lifts.
