History of hunting habits and traditions has very old and deep roots. Early in the past, hunting rituals, ceremonies, and hunting objects had their special place in the culture of nation and society. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to inform, study, analyze, compare and link the connection between historical traditions and current habits. The intention is to engage the reader in a demonstration of diverse hunting activities - in chapters there is a reference to ethics, terminology, jewelery, lures, trumps, falconry, but also to art - art, music or literary. At present, the uniqueness of hunting traditions must be highlighted, maintained and improved, and promote the education of present and future generations, by pointing to customs and traditions for a long-term and purposeful process of conservation and management of nature and wildlife.
