The main theme of this diploma thesis is to provide an innovative concept of the selected premises of the Bratislava Crematory, located in Záhorská Bystrica; to bring a new design based on personal experience and experiencing an emotive and strong architecture during studies abroad, which will enable the guests present at the funeral ceremony to ease their sorrow and hard situation, enriched by a deep, sensual and inner emotional experience.The transformation of the selected premises of the chosen object mainly includes a reconstruction of vertical and horizontal areas of the rooms with partial architectural interventions and with respect to the original character and quality of the building architecture. The thesis is also a transformed idea of a student of design, who is strongly influenced and inspired by architecture abroad and has an urge to put the own experience into an emotional construction, such as an object of the crematorium itself. It provides an inspiration and possible innovative solution for the premises of the Bratislava Crematorium.
