The submitted work work was focussed on affilation with the issue of creating digital maps using free acces data and softwere to collect and process this relevant data. The work does not only cover the creation of maps for the area of hunting management, but also the development of freely accesible geospatial data (for example WMS satellite imagery). In our work we researched the issue of hunting equipment from the view of a relevant location, number and type in the hunting area. This research was conducted on the hunting area of Pieniny. A part of the execution of this work was the creation of a hunting management map.The contents of the map were the current status, number, kind, and distribution of hunting equipment as well as a design for possible improvements. Thereby, the submitted work contains a proposal on how to improve and simplify the overview in the hunting area using the created maps and the thematic layers (seen in the demonstration).Another part of this work includes proposals of thematic map layers, which would improve quality and professionality in dealing with hunting subjects.
