At ten research objects within the forest management of Svinica, at altitude from 650 to 940 m n.m, under various natural conditions, we have analyse populations of Leperisinus fraxini. We have detected and evaluated the abundance of the Leperisinus fraxini population by standard methods. On the basis of our analyzes, we identified the significant impact of the quality of fraxinus excelsior in the stands on the size of the populations of this species. As the quality incereases, the catch rate is decreasing. In stands with 60% and higher quality of fraxinus, the populations was evidently lower. The low aged (10-25 years) and the high aged stands (110 years and over) was optimal to populations of this species. The stands of 40 ± 10 years of age was the most resilient.
