AbstractBachelor thesis is focused on finding information and knowledge about the impact of drought on survival, growth and physiological quality of forest woody species. The theoretical part concentrates on the issue of artificial regeneration of the forest and associated problems of afforestation in open areas, which are influenced by numerous stressful factors. One of the limiting factors is certainly drought. This work is mainly aimed at the comparison and evaluation of the positive effects of various determinants to eliminate the impact of stress from drought, particularly the commercial hydrosorbent product Agrisorb and the commercial ectomycorrhizal product Ectovit having applied to the root system of nurselings before their planting. In the practical part, there has been prepared an experiment , which while preserving the same abiotic conditions for all samples of the European beech (Fagus sylvatica, L.), should create conditions for the assessment of drought stress tolerance while using the specific determinants.
