The thesis presents in particular the analysis and problems of aerial and satellite remote sensing of the Earth, especially with use in forestry. The introduction of the thesis is devoted to the basic concept of the issue of Remote Sensing. In the next chapter I dealt with "classical" aerial photogrammetry, where in several chapters are described principles, use, etc. In the next part I focused on the use of remote piloted aircraft systems in Slovakia, their division and I dealt with two potential models, which in our conditions would be the most suitable adepts. The conclusion of the work is devoted to the analysis and the principle of space-based DPZ, especially to most used current programs at this time, Landsat and Sentinel.
