The aim of this work was to analyze the natural conditions in Slovak Karst, to aproximate the biologi and ethologi of the common raven, common kestrel and the eurasian hobby and to pre-analyze the results of nesting monitoring of these species on the power line in Slovak Karst. All three species of birds nesting on this lineare described in detail and the territory of Slovak Karst is also described in the work. Since this power line is located in a protected birds area and the eurasian hobby is nesting on it, which is one of the rarer species nesting in our country, i tis necessary to observe the nests because in the event of a breakedown, if it happens to be on a pillar with a nest, it would be necessary to inform conservationists who would have to assess the situation and then proceed at their discretion. Especially at the time of the eurasian hobby nesting, workers in the energy industry should not disturb their nests, which means not to do anything on the pillars with the nests until the youngsters leave the nests. In 2017 there were 14 nests on power lines built by ravens, but the ravens were nesting in only 12 nests. Od the original 14 nests built by ravens, four nests were thrown off the pillars by the wind, one was half-broken. Of the remaining 9 nests, 7 nests were occupied, 2 remained empty. In this case, there were 2 nests occupied by eurasian hobby and 5 nests were occupied by common kestrel.
