Supervisor: Ing. Miloš Hitka , PhD. Zvolen: TU, 2018. Number of pages: 52 sThe aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare the motivation between the countries of China and the Czech Republic from the point of view of gender. The bachelor thesis is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part is devoted to the theory of managed human resources and employee motivation. In the second practical part, we are motivating employees in the countries of China and the Czech Republic. Based on the results, we can say that Chinese workers are the most motivating factor for a good working team. For Czech employees, the motivation factor is the most important factor in the workplace. The most motivated factors that have occurred in both countries are good working team, workplace atmosphere, senior management, basic salary, workplace communication, additional financial evaluation, workplace security and content and the type of work being done. Based on the t-test for independent selections, we can say that differences between the sexes in both countries are statistically significant.
