The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare employee motivation in the Russian Federation (Sverdlovsk region) and the Czech Republic. From the results obtained, we found that in Russia and the Czech Republic, differences in individual motivational factors are statistically significant among employees. In the Czech Republic and the Russian Federation, employees are considered to be the most important factors in the workplace atmosphere, good working team, basic salary, content and type of work, superiority and other financial evaluation. These motivational factors were subsequently analyzed using a group-independent t-test and ANOVA. Based on t-test and ANOVA, we found that there are statistically significant differences between countries and respondents within the age structure. In the Czech Republic, the motivation factor was most dominated by the workplace, and in the Russian Federation it was a basic salary and a good working team.
