The main aim of the Bachelor thesis is to develop a low energy housing project based on wood using panel construction. Basic information about the given issues summarized in the first part of the thesis. Moreover, the construction system of family house – basic properties of the panel structures, division, description and function of the individual layers of the peripheral walls and the principles of their design are described in this part as well. In the research part of the thesis, theoretical knowledge of the concrete building system and the elaboration of low energy family housing project – design of a building system and description of the individual structures (perimeter structures, etc.) with the processing and evaluation of thermal properties of the proposed structures is applied. Subsequently, production technology results in designing the building using the panel system in family house as well as budget of raw materials of giving panel system.
