The topic of the presented work is the project of a family house and the production technology of a low-energy family house made of wood-based panels. Theoretical part deals with the materials for the wood constructions, their construction system and with the types of buildings in the perception of energy usage. Practical part focuses on the choice of the architectonical arrangement and plan of the construction arrangement of the house as the proposal of compositions for the chosen construction system, processing of the design documental material for the building permit and partly for the building realization. The work points out to simplicity, advantages and optimality of the panel construction system for the family houses production in the perception of the production technology and the installation at the construction site. The result of the work is the project of the wood construction for the building permit and summary of the advantages of wood panel system in production and installation.
