The aim of the bachelor thesis is to compare cars used in the Fire and Rescue Organization, namely CAS 30 Tatra-815 -7 and CAS 30 Iveco Trakker in terms of their material and technical equipment. For this reason, we evaluate the technical and material equipment of these vehicles, their failures, the advantages and disadvantages associated with their practical use in intervention. The bachelor thesis is divided into three chapters. The first chapter describes requirements for firefighting vehicles in the framework of valid legislation, their division and also technical requirements. Another chapter deals with the purpose and methodology of this bachelor thesis. The third chapter has practical character and is focused on the comparison of selected tank car syringes, where we gain mainly through a questionnaire survey a practical insight into the issue. Based on the findings from this part of this bachelor thesis, we are pretending some suggestions for improvement.
